Marina graduated from the
Moscow
State
University
with a degree in Educational Psychology. Her specialization took her
into speech therapy. She left a rewarding private practice in Russia in 2000 to immigrate to Vancouver. In Canada Marina wished to continue a career in health care. This time she did so by becoming a registered massage therapist by studying massage therapy at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy.
Marina
has extensive experience in treating
many varieties of health related issues such as soft tissue injuries,
postural imbalance, systemic conditions such as arthritis, MS and
fibromyalgia. She also enjoys working with women who are pregnant and has experience providing prenatal and postnatal care.
With her background in psychology Marina understands the importance of not just physical but also the emotional aspects in the process of healing. Using variety of therapeutic techniques
Marina
likes to educate her clients helping them to be active participants in their own healing process.
