Vanessa’s interest in health care and massage therapy began early on in
life, with visits to the student clinic of the massage college in her
hometown of Newmarket, ON. This interest in the health sciences led her
to pursue studies at McMaster University, where she graduated in 2001
with an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology.
An avid skier, Vanessa relocated to British Columbia, returning to
school to study massage therapy where she graduated from the 3 year
program at the Okanagan College of Massage Therapy in 2005.
Vanessa has a diverse practice and has experience working with a
variety of conditions including whiplash, headaches, mid and low back
pain, tendinitis, fibromyalgia, plantar fasciitis, and postural
dysfunction. Having trained as a doula, she has a particular interest
in working with pregnant women, and offers pre-and post-natal massage.
